A proud South Dakota native, Jess grew up in the farm and ranching town of McLaughlin, SD, on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, where he developed the values of hard work, community, and perseverance that continue to guide his personal and professional life.

While Jess has spent time living in both South Dakota and Colorado, he ultimately chose to make Rapid City home—drawn by its strong community spirit and opportunity for meaningful connection.
